Chinatown Soccer Club is our favorite amateur soccer crew. In Part 2 of the series, we learn more about the Chinatown neighborhood where many of the CSC's members live and work and which is home to the small public pitch the team plays on.

Earlier this year, Coach Stochl received an email from Angelo Destounis, a founding member of the Ringleaders Football Club from Montreal about visiting New York for a friendly match. The Ringleaders is a likeminded crew of creatives who banded together 5 years ago to start a club wholly-inspired by the CSC: passion for soccer, creative expression and friendship.

Later we learn about the storied relationship between adidas and the CSC, one that is perhaps best exemplified by the customized CSC adidas Topsala sneakers designed in large part by Justin Fines. To this day, Justin keeps a secret, unworn pair hidden away in the CSC's storage unit which, among many other artifacts from the club's history, includes scarves, stickers, photographs, and hand-designed wall paper by artist Dan Funderburgh.
